23 Weeks

How far along?
23 weeks last Sunday

Latest appointment?
We had an ultrasound to check their hearts and measurements last Friday.  All 3 babies are healthy and developing appropriately.  They were so active and already fighting....kicking, sneaking into each others spotlight during the 4d.  They are going to be 3 little messes!  Our next ultrasound is in 2 more weeks.

How big are the babies?
Boy A weighed 1 lb 2 oz, Baby Boy B 14 oz, and Baby Girl 1 lb 1 oz.  Since Baby Boy B has measured smaller than his siblings since the first ultrasound, they decided to do a doppler to check the blood flow from the placenta.  No problems!  My poor boy is just a little squished between his brother and sister.

How am I feeling?
My back is killing me and the exhaustion is creeping back in...but to be carrying 3 little people, I feel great!  I am still working full time, but crash as soon as I get home.  Only 2 weeks and 2 days left of work!  At our appointment last Friday, my doctor was impressed with how good I look and feel this far along.  Im enjoying it while I can....I know I'll be going down hill soon.  No matter how good or how bad I feel, I couldn't be happier or more grateful for these 3 little people and their Daddy.

Symptoms?
A ridiculous appetite!  For the first 18 weeks, nothing sounded good.  Now, I see it, I eat it, and I want more.  The amount of food I eat in one day is unreal!  I think Brian is really enjoying this symptom.

What do I miss?
Sleeping on my stomach and feeling full.  Seriously, the appetite is that big.

Cravings?
Strawberries, pineapples, and green grapes.  The not so healthy - Lay's sour cream and onion chips, and I would be more than happy to drive several hours for The Cheesecake Factory's white chocolate raspberry cheesecake.

Highlights of the week?
Last night, we saw my belly move for the first time.  I felt the babies moving, then noticed my stomach was moving along with them.  I could watch it for hours!  I am loving the movements I feel throughout the day.  Rolls, pokes, the occasional light kick/punch.  I had my first not so light kick/punch from Baby Girl Saturday, March 2 while I was in Alabama for the weekend.  I had my hand resting on my stomach after dinner, then all of a sudden, BAM!  I grabbed my Dad's hand and put it in the same spot hoping for another smack, but she gave him a light tap.  She smacked her Momma, but lightly tapped her grandfather...she's a smart little girl already!
